Philip Scozzari began work in the
family-owned construction business as a teenager. As Chairman of the
Board of Scozzari Builders Inc., he is responsible for the overall
operation of the company and is committed to excellence in all his
endeavors.
He has more than 43 years of experience in the construction industry and
has been involved in all phases of general construction, industrial,
commercial and institutional projects. He received engineering degrees
from Trenton Junior College and the University of Maryland. He also
served with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and helped design and build
the Atomic Proving Grounds at Yucca Flats, Nevada. Mr. Scozzari has
been active in the construction industry as a general contractor since
1968. He has been involved in many institutional projects including the
completion of the Patton J. Hill School and Bliss Hall at The College of
New Jersey. Mr. Scozzari serves on a number of civic boards, is on the
board of a local bank and was elected to the chair by the American

Leonard Scozzari has been involved in construction projects
since the age of 15, and he has more than 25 years of experience in the
industry. In his capacity of President of Scozzari Builders, Inc., he is
directly responsible for all aspects of purchasing, contract
administration and project accounting.
He's is a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy and Spring Garden
College, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction
Engineering. It is at Spring Garden College where Mr. Scozzari gained
his vast knowledge of the construction industry, including construction
management, construction scheduling and estimating. Mr. Scozzari has
managed many construction projects in both the public and private
sectors. Projects range from club houses in residential communities,
such as "Club Encore" at Leisure Village West, to the new 911
Communication Center for Somerset County. He has also done extensive
alterations, renovations and additions for the Bridgewater Board of
Education. Scozzari is currently Treasurer of the Princeton Chapter of
the Construction Specification Institute and is also a member of the
American Society of Professional Estimators. Active in the community, he
has served as Assistant Chief and President of the Lawrenceville

Nicholas Scozzari started
in the family construction business at the age of 15, working during
school vacations. Over the course of the next 20+ years, he was
responsible for managing a multitude of construction projects, including
new schools, school additions, industrial, retail and institutional
facilities. As Vice President of Scozzari Builders, Inc., he is directly
responsible for quality control. He is accountable for all aspects of
hiring and distribution of manpower, subcontractor coordination and
maintaining project schedules.
After graduating from The Hun School of Princeton, he developed a
passion for the construction industry and decided to make it a full time
career. Mr. Scozzari's first project management assignment was the
complete historic restoration of Drumthwacket, the official residence of
the Governor of the State of New Jersey. This project was completed in
one year, with a budget of $1.5 million. Mr. Scozzari was the project
manager for Phase I and historic restoration of the New Jersey State
House and State House Annex, with a project value of $1.5 million.
